DIY Daisy Spring Wreath
Welcome guests into your home with a bright and cheery spring wreath on your front door. Here is a super easy one to make that will only take a short amount of time and skill. You will need more or less ribbon and mesh depending on the size wreath form you choose to buy. I also added a wooden letter to my finished product for our last name. You can use any colors or flowers you choose! Get creative and have fun. : )
Supplies
Directions
1. Place burlap and mesh next to each other. Start the wreath by pulling both ribbons through an outside slot in the wreath form. Picture 3 shows what I'm talking about a little better. Hot glue the ends of both ribbons together to the wreath for.
2. It's easiest to get going on pulling your ribbons through the form if you unroll them a little bit and place them next to each other as picture 2 shows.
3. Continue to pull both ribbons through every slot around the outside of the wreath form. Once you have pulled the ribbon through all the outside slots, continue by pulling them through the middle slots and then the inside slots.
4. Fluff your ribbons as you go and once all the ribbon is in your wreath form, trim and hot glue the ends on the underside.
5. Next comes adding your embellishments. For my daisies, I pushed the stems through a slot in the form and trimmed the ends off, hot gluing as I went. Refluff the ribbon around your decorations until you get the look you want. If you want to add the first letter to your last name, like I did, or your house number, do so now and hot glue in place.
The finished project
6. Hang your wreath on a wreath hanger and play with the ribbon until it's all evenly fluffed and looks the way you want it to. Enjoy!
