{ cleaning the kitchen sink }
Kitchen sinks are havens for germs and bacteria. If that wasn't bad enough, they also get scratched from pans and dishes being banged around in them. Here is the best way I have found to sanitize and shine my sink.
Put your plastic gloves on. You can put lotion on first so your hands will get some pampering while you clean!
1. Sprinkle your sink with a layer of scouring powder & swirl you dish soap around.
You can use any dish soap but I find that the blue Dawn soap works best for cutting grease.
2. Use your scrub brush and scour bottom and sides of your sink.
3. Put ice, scouring powder and soap down the garbage disposal and run until ice is completely ground up.
4. Rinse sink thoroughly, sprinkle Bar Keepers Friend all over the sink and buff it with a wet rag.
This stuff is stinky so turn your head away while you sprinkle and work quickly.
Rinse thoroughly. Voila! Your sink is as good as new.
