Homemade Shower & Floor Cleaner

You can reuse your automatic shower cleaner and spray-mop bottles by boiling about an inch of water. Using an oven mitt, hold the lids of the bottles above the bottom of the pot, but submerged in the water, for about 30 seconds or until the lid will come off. Be sure to use a towel or mitt to open the lid, it will be hot. Make the cleaners below and pour into the corresponding bottle and use as normal. If you want to use a spray or squirt bottle instead, those will work.

Daily Shower Spray

1/3 cup white vinegar

1/4 cup rubbing alcohol

Water to fill the rest of the bottle

{Optional: Add a couple splashes of Jet Dry or other dishwasher drying agent; if you want a scent to this, add a few drops of essential oil of your choice}

Automatic Floor Cleaner Option 1

1/4 cup of vinegar

1 tsp. liquid dish soap

Water to fill the rest of the bottle

{Add the soap last so it won't foam while you pour in the water}

Automatic Floor Cleaner Option 2

1/4 cup Pine-Sol or Fabuloso cleaning liquid

Water to fill the rest of the bottle
